Immune to weapon

Immune to weapon or ilmu kebal is one of the important knowledge in silat. Ilmu kebal means the practitioner physical invulnerability from weapon such as knives and firearms.

It is the strength of human skin from any sharp weapons puncture, as well immunity against black magic, snake bites and others.

A person who is kebal is someone who cannot be penetrated in any way that is someone who is resilient to magic.

With the kebal the body of the silat practitioner is transformed into an immutable site of power.

One of the method to attain invulnerability include placing hands into boiling oil without bung burned.

The legendary warrior like Hang Tuah was believed to have magical means of hardening their bodies to make them impenetrable to weapon and so slippery that weapon will glance off.
